When you rent the device online, a TripTrak unit will be shipped to you five days before your planned departure date to ensure you have it in plenty of time. Your rental fees will begin the day of your departure, and will be billed until the date you ship your TripTrak back to us in our pre-paid envelope (the postal stamp on the package is considered the return date, not the date your package arrives at our warehouse).
You can also rent a unit from select AAA stores. A representative will provide you with the device, answer any questions you have, and provide any instructions necessary.
All rentals will come with the following services:- Unlimited roadside assistance locating in order to receive immediate roadside response
- Unlimited child and adult locating assistance by device or phone
- Unlimited concierge locates including directions to hotels, restaurants, and gas stations
- Optional replacement plan is available
Your entire rental charge will be refunded if you cancel 10 days prior to your planned departure date as scheduled at the time of rental.
Notice: If the AAA Membership ID is not a valid number or tied to a current AAA Membership, you will need to become a AAA Member or renew your membership to qualify for a rental.
