The new TripTrak Personal GPS Locator, developed by VForce, Inc. in partnership with AAA Ohio Auto Club, ensures that travelers will never again have to worry about getting lost, waiting for hours if their car breaks down, or being separated from their children while on vacation.
Designed especially with on-the-go families in mind, the TripTrak is a portable device that can be slipped into the glove compartment of a car or the pocket of a child’s jacket. A convenient SOS button on the side of the device makes it easy to contact TripTrak operators, who can quickly and easily pinpoint the TripTrak’s location on their computer screens.
Because TripTrak works with cellular assist technology, it can be located even if a vehicle is under an overpass, or a child is inside a building. As soon as a TripTrak operator is contacted, he or she will call a designated adult with an approximate location of the disabled auto or missing child. That means no more long waits for roadside assistance or anxious moments attempting to locate a lost youngster.
